Do I have to pay for it?
FOXTEL, OPTUS and AUSTAR viewers who subscribe to FOX Sports will have access to the live AFL coverage on Fox Sports Plus at no additional charge.
Why isn’t the AFL available to all states and territories?
Region specific games are decided contractually by the AFL and FOXTEL. Main Event is just the host channel for FOX Sports Plus – the AFL and FOX Sports make the decisions of which games are shown on our channel. This is part of an agreement we are not privy to.
I am not a FOX Sports subscriber – can I still watch the AFL?
No, you will need to contact your Service Provider (FOXTEL, OPTUS or AUSTAR) to upgrade.
Can I FOXTEL iQ the games?
Yes, games will be recordable for FOXTEL IQ subscribers but series link will not be available.
Why are you only showing specific games?
At present FOX Sports are utilising our channel for specific games, we are not part of the decision making on which games are shown. We are sure that FOX Sports will be able to assist you in your enquiry.
