The biggest pay-per-view sporting event in recent history is almost here, with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao finally coming together in the ring to find out who is the undisputed pound-for-pound champion on May 3rd. MAIN EVENT is the only place to watch the fight of the life time

We are expecting a high volume of calls into the Foxtel call centre so we recommend ordering early. You can do so by calling 131 999, via My Account or through your remote if you have an internet-enabled iQ set-top box.

Don’t miss our Common Rivals week starting April 27, where we will be showing both fighters going toe-to-toe with the same opponent from 7:30pm each night. We’re starting the week with Mayweather and Pacquiao versus Oscar ‘Golden Boy’ De La Hoya.

Q: I’ve tried to order the event and an error message appears, saying “Insufficient credit available. For assistance please call your service provider. FOXTEL subscribers call 131 999”. Can I still order the event?

A: Yes – this message means that to order the event you need to call your service provider to order the event. For Foxtel subscribers, call 131 999. For Optus subscribers, call 133 161.

This error may occur if you have ordered other pay per view events within your monthly billing cycle.

Q: I can’t get through to the call centre. What should I do?

A: We are expecting a high volume of calls into the Foxtel call centre in the week leading up to the broadcast, so we encourage everyone to order early. The event is also available to order online through My Account.

Q: How long do I have to view the event?

A: The Mayweather vs Pacquiao broadcast is live at 11am AEST then "replays" 6pm and midnight, then every 6 hours on Monday April 4th. FOXTEL iQ or FOXTEL iQHD subscribers who record a MAIN EVENT to the FOXTEL iQ2, FOXTEL iQ2HD or FOXTEL iQ3 set top unit can watch it for a full 24 hours from the time they press select to view. If the MAIN EVENT is not viewed it will be deleted after 72 hours; if you view the MAIN EVENT whilst recording (even for one second), this counts as 'being viewed'.

Q: Can I record the Mayweather vs Pacquiao broadcast?

A: If you are a FOXTEL iQ2, FOXTEL iQ2HD or FOXTEL iQ3 customer you can record the broadcast – however as this is a 6 hour broadcast please ensure that you have enough room on your harddrive to accommodate this.

Q: Can I watch the event at any other time?

A: Mayweather vs Pacquiao will replay at 6pm on May 3, then 12am, 6am, 12pm and 6pm on May 4, and 12am on May 5. You can then purchase the Encore event on May 5 and 6, which will repeat the event every 6 hours from 6am.
