Parker vs Takam - by Ted Cofie

Joseph Parker has swiftly breezed through his first 18 opponents with 16KO’s to his credit. The attention for this fight is rightfully based on what Parker can and can’t do rather thank what Takam will or won’t do! However Parker is up for a real test against a man that also wants to fill the spot as the mandatory challenger for Anthony Joshua’s IBF Heavyweight Title. Parker has the backing of a great team and they did well to secure this elimination bout in NZ. But Parker’s last fight again journeyman Jason Bergman uncovered some serious floors that I’m sure has left his next opponent licking his lips.

Takam is a tough native of Cameroon residing in France. He has a great record of 33 wins in 36 fights including 1 draw and 25 by KO. After loosing a hard fought 10th KO to Alexander Povetkin in Russian in October 2014, Takam has bounced back with 3 wins and 2 by KO. He is very deserving of this elimination bout and his power and ring experience will trouble Parker immensely.

I see Parker winning on Points or Takam by KO. This is gonna be a great fight! Tune in only on Main Event.
