This is a fan friendly contest that cannot be missed.
Jacobs certainly is the Miracle Man. He is a cancer survivor who has notched up 32 wins from 32 fights. His lone defeat came in July 2010, but his 12 win, 12 KO streak after that loss has now bought him a ticket to his date with destiny. Jacobs is a great boxer/ puncher and could give GGG plenty of problems with his long fast boxing style. This contest has all boxing fans salivating for the first bell to ring.
Gennady GGG Golovkin is in a world of his own. His dynamic punching power coupled with his 36 wins, no defeats and 33 KO's has captured the wider combat audience's attention. It is hard to bet against this guy and I believe he will deliver a career best performance now that he has a very capable dance partner. Australian boxing fans will remember when GGG dispatched Daniel Geale in 3 rounds in July 2014... well to (that) date, Geale should have proven to be his touhgest test on paper.
Golovkin is special and he has firmly accepted the baton from the Likes of middleweight great Marvin Hagler. There are not too many of these guys in an average lifetime. Though Jacobs is a brilliant athlete, I believe it is unfortunate that he is in a parallel timeline with GGG.
I see Golovkin extending his KO streak by any means necessary. There may be a few bumps but GGG will get there. Tune in to Main Event for all the live action. I can't wait!!!
